Question by catwoman: Is is true you have a certain number of freebie credit checks before they really count against you?
the reason is because my husband keeps checking around to find better rates on our home mortgage, and I argued with him that all the inquiring into our credit looks bad. The loan company told him that we supposedly get so many checks before it counts against you.
