Question by : How to Protect Assets when you have Bad Credit?
I moved away 2 years ago and just recently moved back to the US, New York. When I had left I had about $ 50,000 in unpaid credit cards and now all of it is been charged off and in collections. I am currently figuring out the best way to settle this debt and have spoken to a few credit agencies, but it will take at least a year for me to pay them off at a settlement rate.
