Question by Mrs. Baum: Is sub-leasing a car illegal in California?
I have really bad credit and even though I have been making payments, it still is in too bad of shape to get a car loan, so I agreed to take over someone else's car payment and sub-lease it from them. He had told me that the car was in his name and we agreed on an amount.
