Question by EazyE: Collections item on one of my credit reports, how bad is it?
I have a rental property, and somehow the gas bill got in my name. The tenants didn't pay the bill for 2 months and got sent to collections, finally paid it off. I realized what happened after I went to get a credit card, and got denied (from TransUnion). For Equifax, I had a clean record and a FICO of 730. I am 26 years old.
