How much should I be saving each month?

Question by desertrose: How much should I be saving each month?
I currently have about 15k in credit card debt at low rates and about 15k in student loans. My car is paid off. My annual income is about 60k. Each month I pay my staples. Rent, gas, insurance, food, water, electric, blah blah and everything left over I pay towards my debt. I have zero savings and I know its bad. How much should I be saving each month for an emergency fund?
