Question by : When purchasing a car, is there a down payment amount which allows a buyer to obtain financing with no credit?
I am purchasing a vehicle and have sufficient funds to pay cash, but since I have bad credit, I would like to finance some to restore my credit. I am wondering if there is an amount that would give me a good rate and without a credit report being done?

Answer by danielyes, if you have say 20 - 30% down, you can probably get financed ...
