Question by boombastic: Ive never had credit but I went to collections. Does this impact my credit history?
I had a checking account with my bank. I went to Mexico for 6 months and I didn't realize I was overdrawn. Since I was gone and didn't know, they sent me to collections. I'm worried because I'm really young, Ive never had a credit card in my life and I want to know if I have bad credit because of it now.
Also, if I pay what I owe to collections, will I be okay?
