Question by Daniel D: Where can a person borrow money when they make plenty of money, but have a bad credit score?
My wife's score is better but she has only been working part-time for less than six months and was a homemaker before that, while I have a bad score from the past and have plenty of income and a 3 plus year work history with the same company.
Only looking for maybe $ 5000 to $ 10000 to update home so we can get more out of it and refinance at a better

I want to lease a new car, but I know I have bad credit (563)... Would I be able to lease a car if I can pay the entire lease the same day I sign it. I know this can be done, but wasn't sure if it could be done with bad credit. Thank you all for your answers!

I tried this yesterday and im kinda in a bind. Conventional lending doesnt work for me. I take responsibility for my past mistakes. I do not need pity for my circumstances of losing my daughter, just real advice on how to get a loan with six months to repay it. Thanks to anyone for the assistance.

I don't have a co-signer so please don't make comments or suggestions on one. I don't want anything fancy just a car to get me around. Like a Honda or something. My credit score on average is 540 btw.

however, my credit rating is now very poor and in a few months i need to renew my mortgage
i assume i will have no problem with my current lender but what about shopping around?
