Question by dsjnix: What can i do in the State of Georgia to retireve funds from a bad check?
I received a check over 1 month ago for $ 75 which I deposited and my credit union charged me $ 25 becasue the check was no good. This lady who wrote me the check had told me on 2 occasions that she had mailed me a money order, but this has not happened. I took it by her bank today hoping that since it was a Friday and the 30th, that she might have funds in the account, but she does not. Here is
