Question by sugar: how would my fiance's bankrupcy effect on buying a house?
I understand that it will just be on his credit (at least 7 years) but if I buy a house now (next 6months or so as we aren't married) and just put it in my name (I have great credit) when we get married would my mortgage rate change because I am now married to someone with bad credit? or would it remain the same as long as just my name (well new last name) would be on the house?
