Question by Northcutt: Car dead, bad credit, no down payment, working at a k yr job for 2 1/2 years. Can I buy a car? New or used?
Notes:
- cosigner might be possible, not sure (is it worth begging for?)
- how big of an effect does a down payment make? (I could wait a week and have a grand to put down if it really made a difference)
- is it easier to finance a new car with all my limitations taken into account, or should I opt for a decent used car ($ 8k-10k)?
