The dealer told me that every other lenders need me to have a co-signer. I dont want a co-signer, I am working on my credit history. They asked me for my apartment address and phone number. What are they going to do? verify my address information? dont I need to give them permission to check that first?

I dont get why my credit score is 589, which is considered "very poor" , even though I pay my bills on time, have no lates on my account, no delinquencies, no collections...nothing. Yes i do have credit cards (3) but I pay them on time and surely a high balance here and there ALONE cannot account for such a poor score. I checked my report and there is no inaccuracies.
