My BIL has very bad credit, and NO checking account. He got a workman's comp settlement check from IN for about $ 6000. Having no bank account he can't deposit it anywhere. Check cashing places like Western Union tell him they "have" to hold it for about a month so "it can clear"....(puhleeze), plus they want to charge him a couple hundred in interest. Can he sign it over to me, let me deposit it in MY
