Question by Sierra: How easy is it to buy a multifamily home?
I am interested in buying a 4plex that I believe i can afford a monthly payment, but I have bad credit right now and do not make to much money. However, I was wondering if it was easier to be approved for a loan that is for a multifamily home since I would make more than enough money renting it out to pay for the mortgage payment and still have a lot of extra money. I plan on living in one unit and renting the others out.
