Do people with little/no credit usually get financing approval?

Question by El Danny!: Do people with little/no credit usually get financing approval?
The only source of credit I really have is a cell phone in my name and I make my payments on time. I have had an old old bank account go into collection for a few days but when I found out about it I paid it in full it was about $ 60.

I plan on going to Sansone with my GF to get some options as to financing a car. I would like to get a car for about 7K - 12K.
