Better to use one card, or multiple cards, for score increase?

Question by Luke: Better to use one card, or multiple cards, for score increase?
I have 5 credit cards open. I don't think that's TOO excessive, it's right on the border I'm sure. But my question is, is it better for me to use ALL 5 cards, and make payments on them regularly to establish a credit history and etc, on all 5 cards, orrrrr is it better to just use one or two cards, thereby making it more simple?

Obviously using 5 or 1 or 2 ,i'm going to keep my debt to available credit ratio
