Question by John Malan's toupe: How do I start negotiating with credit card companies?
Between 6 different credit cards I owe about $ 8500. Minimum payments add up to about $ 325 per month. Credit cards are no longer used, but I am making very little progress on paying down the debt due to fees and my current lack of cash-flow. I am only able to make minimum payments right now. (I have 2 part-time jobs in addition to my full-time job, it's still not enough).
