I'm engaged to an officer in the navy. He has top secret security clearance. Will my bad credit score (442 due to late payments on credit cards) keep the navy from approving the marriage. By the time we ask for approval, my debt will be paid and I will have been making consistent timely payments on all of my other accounts. I keep hearing about this background check
