Is it easier to lease a car?

So i have a great job, make bank for my age compared to my bills. But i lost my job over the summer so i couldnt pay my bills and because my creditors were jerks they wouldnt work with me at all and charged me fees and stuff so now my credit sucks. I am trying to get a car and im just wondering if its easier to lease or finance with bad credit? and any detail regreading your decision is greatly appreciated.
