25 years old and bad credit score...need advice!?

I graduated university with a fairly large loan and was not organized with paying my monthly payments. My credit score is very bad, I can't even get a credit card from my bank!

I have a decent job and have been paying my monthly payments on time and I pay more than is required per month.

I am just wondering, if I keep this up, how many years or months until my credit score improves? Now that I am more
