Question by : Is it a bad idea to pay off student loans before the 6 month grace period is up?
I finish my master's degree the end of the Fall 2010 semester. I will officially earn my degree in February 2011 and my student loans will start billing me come August 2011 which is after the 6 month grace period. It is now August 2010 and I want to start make large payments on my student loan now. There is no penalty for prepaying my loans in advance and after calculating how much
