I bought my house a few years ago, in Texas. At the time, all my credit cards had low rates, gas prices were low, groceries were reasonable, and energy prices were decent, at least compared to what they are now. I bought 100 year old house way outside of town, for the "charm and country feel". Now I am feeling it all right! Gas prices are killing me because my commute is so long.
