can i get financed through in-house financing to buy a car with bad credit..?

Question by Erika: can i get financed through in-house financing to buy a car with bad credit..?
i filled out a credit app online for a toyota dealership.. they called me and told me that i was approved for 35,000 with no down payment due to the work history (its under my dads name.. hes been at his job for 20 yrs).. the dealership said he was approved through their in house financing program.. he has very bad ncredit.. could this be true.. we dont want to go for nothing...
