Question by Katie: Mortgage possible with inherited house?
My husband and I desperately want to buy a home but our credit is shot. We both have a score under 600. About $ 11,000 in debt and we have about $ 3,000 to pay towards the debt. We have printed out copies of our credit reports and are working on fixing things. BUT, about 10 months ago, my Grandmother passed away and we just discovered she left her house to me.
